The Department Integrated Circuits and Systems (ICS) of Fraunhofer IIS is seeking a contractor for professional customer support in microelectronics and IC layout. The scope includes acting as the primary interface between EUROPRACTICE/EuroCDP and the semiconductor manufacturer GlobalFoundries. Key tasks involve managing MPW shuttles, performing design rule checks (DRC), handling tapeouts, providing support for PDKs and design tools, and managing customer engagement from early information stages to small volume production. Additionally, the contractor will organize backend processes such as packaging, testing, and delivery for academic customers. Experience with GlobalFoundries technologies (specifically 22FDX, 45RFE, and 8XP) is required.
