The regional project 'Implementing Regional and National Adaptation Priorities in Central and West Africa (PACO)' seeks technical expert support for climate change adaptation and climate finance. The contractor will collaborate with the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) to implement high-impact adaptation projects, establish the Adaptation Benefits Mechanism (ABM), and facilitate Reverse Linkages for knowledge transfer. Key tasks include developing a pipeline of bankable adaptation projects, conducting socio-economic and environmental analyses, and supporting the establishment of regional Centres of Excellence in Benin, Côte d'Ivoire, and Senegal.
