Project Overview

The project Mobilité Verte au Sénégal (MoVe Senegal) is implemented by the GIZ in partnership with the Senegalese Ministry of Land and Air Transports (MiTTA) and the Executive Council for Sustainable Urban Transportation (CETUD). The objective is to anchor active mobility as an integral component of transport planning in the Dakar metropolitan region. The contract involves four main work packages: 1) Baseline study for urban mobility, 2) Inclusive and gender-responsive participation processes, 3) Pre-feasibility study for a Green Corridor to improve pedestrian access to public transport, and 4) Conceptualization and implementation of training programs on sustainable mobility and street design for local technical experts.

Bidder Requirements

  • Exclusion grounds pursuant to §§ 123, 124 GWB, § 22 LkSG
  • Average annual turnover of at least EUR 900,000.00 (net) for the last three years
  • Minimum of 10 employees and managers on average over the last three years
  • Reference projects in technical and economic feasibility studies of street & urban space design (min. EUR 150,000.00 net)
  • Reference projects in participatory processes for urban mobility/development (min. EUR 150,000.00 net)
  • Reference projects in training course development in urban mobility (min. EUR 150,000.00 net)
