The 'Programme d'appui au développement durable et intégré en périphérie des aires protégées' (PADDI+) is cofunded by the EU and the German BMZ, implemented by GIZ. The program seeks an international service provider to deliver direct local support to communes and community organizations in Madagascar. The goal is to strengthen organizational capacities in sustainable land development and management around seven protected areas (Andohahela, Ankarafantsika, Ankarana, Analamerana, Marolambo, Midongy du Sud and Montagne d'Ambre). Key objectives include increasing budget allocation for ecosystem services, enhancing local ownership of environmental measures, improving collaboration between communities and national parks, and promoting sustainable forestry and agricultural practices.
