Project Overview

The FAIR - Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research in Europe GmbH is seeking the simulation, design, fabrication, characterization, and certification of 22 planar shock-wave generators for experiments with the PRIOR-II proton microscope. The contract includes an option for 6 additional units. The evaluation criteria consist of 30% price and 70% performance criteria, including design parameters, characterization methodology, and overall concept.
