The assignment focuses on supporting the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Supply (MoITS) in Jordan within the Economic Modernisation Vision (EMV) Phase II. Key areas include strategic and policy development, technical implementation of EMV initiatives, and capacity building. The goal is to adapt trade and industrial policies, strengthen SMEs, and improve the environment for export, innovation, and digitalization. Specific initiatives involve supporting compliance with EU food safety requirements and enhancing export compliance certification. Capacity development for MoITS and relevant public sector bodies is also a focus.
