The project involves obtaining EASA-certified qualifications for two Lead Flight Test Engineers and one Test Pilot. The Lead Flight Test Engineers will achieve Competency Level 2 for fixed-wing aircraft. The Test Pilot will obtain a Level 2 Flight Test Rating in the aeroplane category. Both roles require specific EASA certifications and ratings. The procurement is divided into two lots, one for LFTE qualification and another for TP qualification. The project location is Braunschweig, Germany. The contract is for services and not eligible for EU funds. Electronic submission and invoicing are required. There will be no further negotiation. The tender deadline is January 30, 2026.

Two (2) employees of the Institute shall obtain the EASA-certified Competency Level 2 (“Category 2”) Lead Flight Test Engineer (LFTE) qualification for fixed-wing aircraft. One (1) employee of the Institute shall obtain the EASA Test Pilot (TP) Competency Level 2 Flight Test Rating in the aeroplane category.
