The project includes the four-track expansion of the existing line 5900 Nuremberg – Bamberg. It also includes the adaptation of the track plan and platforms in Bamberg station. Furthermore, it includes the four-track expansion of line 5100 Bamberg - Hof. The project also includes the new construction of line 5107 for the new connection of Bamberg port. Additionally, it includes the new construction of the Bamberg Süd stop. The project also includes new signaling technology and ETCS Level 2. The planning includes performance and site coordination. The planning is divided into 9 lots. The contract duration is 41 months.
